Sunday the 21st of July 2024 saw the Prospect and East Launceston U14 & U17 girls competing for the Shyanne-Lee Memorial Cup. Our association came together to honour the memory of Shyanne-Lee, whose life was tragically cut short in Launceston in 2023, and to promote awareness and educate all our members on Youth Safety.
All the girls played some amazing football, but Prospect were the stronger competitors today, coming away with the win and taking home the trophy.
We would like to thank Bobbi-Lee, Shyanne-Lee’s mother, and immediate family for attending and helping us educate our young players on Youth Safety.
Also, a huge thank you to all the players, coaches, umpires, volunteers, and supporters who made this event a success. Together, we are building a safer future for our youth!
